We are a family of myself ( Brenda) and six
Newfoundlands (Gator, Faith, Gracie, Ida,
MoMo, and Elsie). We live on the beautiful
lake Ondawa, better know as Big Pond, near
Gillett, PA. We are with-in driving distance
of NJ, CT, MD, OH and a short driving of NY
and PA. Our dogs are well cared for inside
as well as outside. They have a large Newfy
house that has a doggie door they can
access anytime, inside has electric for their
conveniences. Our dogs are loved members
of the family and take turns going to work
with us, as they love to go out and meet new
people. Elsie has worked at our local town's
fire prevention week to help children learn
fire safety, you can see her award on her
page. Elsie also likes to catch fish in the
summer and bring them back to our truck.
Gator does community service by promoting
water safety at River Fest. Faith is a very
happy girl that just wants to make you
happy, she will play for hours with a ball. I
haven't figured out just who is the mouse
catcher, but one of the dogs will catch mice
at night and leave them in the food bowl.
We are a small AKC Newfoundland breeder
that averages two or three litters a year. All
of our puppies are born inside and raised
under foot so that they come pre-spoiled for
you. All of our puppies are vet checked,
received their first Distemper shot, have
seen a Cardiologist at Cornell to check the
hearts for defects, micro-chipped and
wormed. They also come with a written one
year heart and hip guarantee.
We are breeding to improve the breed, and
therefore do health testing on all of our
breeding stock and use appropriate matches
to breed together. We are breeding for
correct type and conformation to the AKC
standard, and above all, temperament! All of
our dogs are happy, healthy and loved by us.
